My Opinion - The Giver
I loved this book. It had so many details and a lot of figurative language. The story line was wonderful. Even though I have strong feelings about this book and would recommend it to anyone, It was boring at times. My favorites genre of books is realistic fiction. This story is not really realistic fiction, so I did not like it as much as I would if it was realistic fiction. Write your opinion in the comments link under this post!!!!!

wen i read the book the giver i thought i was really interesting. i really thought the book left you in suspense in the end and throughtout the book, wat do u think? i would really lke to read the messenger and gathering blue in the future.

I thought at first Jonas was seeing things. But when i read that he was actually a "special." I was really surprised! I just thought he was having a problem with his sight.

I agree with your statement about The Giver, even if it can get boring at times. In my opinion, I liked the suspense, making me read it a little bit more. I'd rate that book 9/10.

Hopefully you enjoyed The Giver, even though it was not realistic fiction (your favorite genre). Maybe since you did enjoy some parts of The Giver it will pull you into reading more fantasy/supernatural books. As you said, this book has much figurative language, which helps you to visualize the events.

i thought tht the giver was an ok book. It didnt have all the action i like in a book.
